8-Channel Relay Module Set (5-Pack)

Each board in this set gives 8 independent relay channels, letting a microcontroller switch up to 8 separate higher-power loads — motors, lights, solenoids — safely, since a microcontroller's own output pins can't handle that kind of current or voltage directly. The relay physically separates the low-voltage control signal from the switched load.

Screw terminals on each channel accept wire directly without needing to solder, which speeds up wiring a project and makes it easy to swap a connection later without desoldering. Each channel has an onboard LED that lights when that relay is active, useful for confirming a channel triggered correctly without a multimeter.

Optical isolation between the control side and the switching side protects the connected microcontroller from voltage spikes on the switched side, which matters when relays are driving inductive loads like motors that can generate a voltage spike when switched off.
